Day 01

ARRIVAL MUNICH – REGENSBURG (MOB)

Welcome to Germany! After landing and claiming your luggage, look for the DMC Balkans Travel & Events sign at the airport, for the meet & greet with your guide for the tour.

 Assemble in the coach and start with the city tour in Munich, the Bavarian capital.

Head over to Marienplatz, the central square in the city center of Munich, Germany. It has been the city’s main square since 1158. See the Rathaus-Glockenspiel, a large mechanical clock located in Marienplatz Square.

The Mariensäule, Fischbrunnen (Fish Fountain) and the Old Town Hall are some of the other landmarks you will see at  Marienpatz, at the heart of Munich old town.

 After the city tour, we proceed to Regensburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bavarian city on the Danube River in southeast Germany, is known for its well-preserved medieval core. The 12th-century Stone Bridge, a 310m-long icon with 16 arches, crosses the river to the old town.

It is time for a short sightseeing tour in Regensburg, than continuing to Prague, the capital of Czechia.

 Upon arriving in Prague, nicknamed the City of a Hundred Spires, visit Karlov Most (Charles Bridge), a medieval stone arch bridge that crosses the Vltava river. Other landmarks in Prague include Prague Astronomical Clock, the Prague Castle, the Dancing House, Old Town Square.

It is time to summarize our impressions of Budapest, and prepare for our next destination after breakfast at the hotel.

Our first stop is Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, we will visit the Holocaust Memorial, Maria Theresa Walking Trail, Mozart’s 6 year old and F. Liszt’s 9 years old first Palace buildings where he gave his concert, Opera House and few others on the way.

 Upon arrival in Vienna, take some great photos on a circuit of the famous Ring Road. This grand boulevard, built along the lines of the old city walls, showcases many of the capital’s architectural masterpieces, including the Opera House, magnificent Hofburg Imperial Residence, Austrian Parliament Building and Karlskirche (bus city tour) with free time in the center.

Visit to Schoenbrunn Palace (entrance fee not included)
