Itinerary
Day 01
ARRIVE EDINBURGH
Upon arrival in Edinburgh,
Meet coach or driver and transfer to your accommodation.
After check-in, spend the remaining days to explore the city at your own leisure
Day 02
EDINBURGH – ISLE OF SKYE (B)
After breakfast,
Pick up and travel to west toward Isle of Skye, pass through glorious scenery surrounding Loch Luibnaig, Breadalbane & Clan Macdonald.
Travel west on the ‘Road to the Isles’, head through the splendor of the Five Sisters of Kintail and visit the famous Eileen Donan Castle. Cross over the bridge to Skye.
Overnight in the island’s capital – Portree.
Day 03
ISLE OF SKYE (B)
Today is a flexible day on Skye; and your driver guide ensures you take a unique route that suits the weather, the local events, and your group’s interests.
You can travel north to the Trotternish Ridge and beyond. Here you find the geological wonders like Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, and the stunning mountain pass of the Quiraing.
Or your guide may take you back in time and teach you about the legends and clan culture surrounding the 13th- century home of the Clan MacLeod, Dunvegan Castle.
Return to Portree in the evening. Overnight in Portree
DAY 04
ISLE OF SKYE – LOCH NESS – EDINBURGH (B)
After breakfast
picked up from the hotel and travel south through the Cuilin Hills, Loch Duich and Five Sisters of Kintail, Onto Loch Ness for lunch (own expense) and the possibility of spotting “Nessies”(the mytchical Loch Ness Monster).
Head back to Edinburgh and over the Forth Road Bridge
Overnight in Edinburgh
DAY 05
DEPART EDINBURGH (B)
After breakfast, picked up from your hotel
Transferred to the airport for your departing flights
